Lip Sync Rules and Format.
 

1. You may only Win 1 Preliminary in a month (If you win as a duet you can not compete as a solo and if you win as a solo you can not compete as a duet)

2. Music, We have ample music selections at the club, but we realize you have special songs we do not have, please only provide those songs in CD Player format for the DJ, we can not accept DVD’s, IPods or any other form of music because it is very fast paced during lip sync contest and we have to go with what all the DJ’s are comfortable with.

3. First signed up goes last and same goes with everyone else in the order they sign up, unless you want to go first! If so let the DJ know and he will arrange it.

4. Five contestants each Preliminary night, we can only accept the first 5 people signed up as contestants.

5. Finals, once you are in the Finals, your order is by drawing. When you come in, you go to the DJ to let them know you’re there and at that time you can draw your place in the contest. The number on the ticket is the place you will perform (if you draw ticket 10 and there are only 10 tickets, your position would be last) if not everyone shows up, just before the contest the empty spaces are removed and that is our list, you may not actually go as the 10^th contestant if only 8 show up!

6. The order. People get to the club early to insure a good spot in the Lip Sync contest, therefore if your name is called and your not around to perform, we can not put you in someone else’s spot, so all we can do is move on with the contest and your position is Eliminated from that nights performance.

7. Winners of the Finals will not be allowed to compete in the next month regardless of how they won the previous month IE: Won as a solo but now wants to compete as a duet)  We feel this makes it fair for everyone who has not won.

8. Only one half of the couple can sign up per night unless competing as a Duet, if there are vacant spots at 10:15 the DJ will be more than happy to add the other half of a couple to the list. This allows for more couples to enter and for variety.

9. Have fun! This is the most important rule we can stress! It’s not about winning, it’s about having a good time and showing off for a night and being a STAR among your peers!  There are No Losers in our contest!
